FA Life Hacks Campaign Instagram Participation

A “life hack” is a simple tip or technique for accomplishing a familiar task more easily and efficiently.

If there’s a life hack that you use to help manage Friedreich’s ataxia, we want to hear it! Your life hack could be a great help to others living with FA. Our goal is to create a collection of FA life hacks so that patients in all stages of their journeys can learn from each other.

How to Share Your Life Hack

  1. Think of an FA life hack that you use to help manage your day-today. Your life hack can be about making your home safer, useful devices, self-care, communicating about FA, getting around, etc. The possibilities are endless, but we ask that you take a look at our campaign rules to see what topics to avoid sharing about.
  2. Take a picture or video of your life hack in action! This could be useful for all the visual learners out there.
  3. Upload your FA life hack to either your Instagram story or your Instagram feed. Keep in mind that others won’t be able to see your life hack if your profile is private.
  4. Write a description of what your life hack is and how it’s helped you. Share any other details that you want other FA-ers to know about your life hack.
  5. Make sure to add the hashtag #FALifeHacks and tag our account @reatapharmaceuticals in your photo or video. This step is important for us to be able to see your life hack and share it with other FA patients!
  6. Hit “share” or “upload to your story” and you’re done!
  7. Keep an eye on our Instagram profile @reatapharmaceuticals or the hashtag #FALifeHacks to browse the tips and tricks that FA community shared.
